Over time, it has evolved into a beautiful and intricate decorative art form. The technique involves using a running stitch to create patterns and designs, often inspired by nature or geometric shapes. Today, Sashiko embroidery is widely appreciated for its minimalist aesthetic and unique texture. In my artworks, I incorporate Sashiko embroidery to add depth and dimension, while paying homage to this rich cultural heritage.
